Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: September 23, 2026

At Lichte Partners, we believe meaningful partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and mutual respect. We are committed to establishing clear expectations for our consulting and advisory engagements, including payment, cancellation, and refund arrangements.

This policy outlines our general approach to refunds and cancellations.

1. Consulting & Advisory Services

Lichte Partners provides customized consulting and advisory services, including market entry and growth, product value and validation, sales and client success, events and strategic engagement, and leadership and organizational advisory.

Because each engagement is tailored to the needs of the client, payment schedules, cancellation provisions, and refund eligibility may vary.

Specific terms will be outlined in the applicable proposal, statement of work, or consulting agreement.

2. Introductory Consultations

Initial consultations scheduled through our website are complimentary unless otherwise expressly stated.

There is no charge for canceling or rescheduling a complimentary introductory consultation.

If you are unable to attend, we appreciate advance notice so that the time may be made available to others.

3. Deposits & Advance Payments

Certain engagements may require a deposit or advance payment to reserve time, secure resources, or begin project
preparation.

Any applicable deposit requirements and refund conditions will be communicated in writing before payment is collected.

Deposits and advance payments will be handled according to the terms of the applicable client agreement.

4. Cancellation of Consulting Engagements

Clients may request cancellation of an engagement by providing written notice.

Any fees associated with cancellation will be determined by the applicable client agreement and may include compensation for services already performed, agreed-upon commitments, or authorized expenses incurred before cancellation.

Where appropriate, we will work with the client to establish a reasonable transition or conclusion to the engagement.

5. Refunds for Services Not Yet Performed

If an engagement is canceled before all contracted services have been delivered, any refund of prepaid fees will be determined by the applicable client agreement.

Where the agreement permits a refund, the amount may reflect services already performed, work in progress, and authorized nonrecoverable expenses.

We will provide a clear explanation of any applicable refund calculation.

6. Completed Services

Fees for consulting, advisory, facilitation, or other professional services that have already been performed are generally nonrefundable, except as otherwise provided in the applicable agreement or required by law.

If you have concerns regarding the services delivered, we encourage you to contact us promptly so we can discuss the matter and work toward an appropriate resolution.

7. Events, Workshops & Speaking Engagements

Events, workshops, retreats, and speaking engagements may require advance planning, preparation, travel, or the reservation of specific dates.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for these engagements will be established in the applicable agreement.

Clients may be responsible for authorized expenses or nonrecoverable commitments incurred before cancellation, as specified in that agreement.

8. Refund Processing

When a refund is approved, we will communicate the amount, payment method, and anticipated processing timeline.

Refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method when practical, unless another arrangement is agreed upon.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

9. Client Agreements Take Precedence

This policy provides general information about our approach to refunds and cancellations.

If a signed proposal, statement of work, or consulting agreement contains specific payment, cancellation, or refund provisions, those provisions will govern the applicable engagement, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about a payment, cancellation, or refund, please contact us.

We believe concerns are best addressed through open communication and a shared commitment to finding a reasonable path forward.
